A week has come and gone for Camp NaNoWriMo, and I’ve come to the conclusion that everything I’ve written so far is…crap! Do I go on with this charade of a novel, or do I face reality and begin on a different project? I would still have about three quarters of the month left for creating something new. Hmmmm.
I’m leaning on doing something new. Maybe the uniqueness of starting on a different project will fuel my energy to make up for the lost first week. Who knows? The important fact is that I’m only working on the first draft, so there’s going to be a lot of new crap I’ll have to deal with later. Possibly, this new crap might smell better than the old.
The important aspect of all this, is that I’m writing…just like everyone else who is taking part in Camp NaNoWriMo 2015. So, let’s get to it!
